With Billy’s fancy posing, I felt like a member of the “pup-arazzi.”
Doesn’t Billy look like he’s smiling for the camera? This adorable pup is Billy, a sweet Chow Chow dog mix with a giant heart and floof for days. His owner, former local news anchor Scott Hamilton, rescued him recently from a shelter in Charleston, and the two are a perfect fit for one another!
Billy is a nine month old furbaby, and he got along very well with our puppy, Juno. It was a lot of fun to watch them run around together at our homestead!
Once I got ready to photograph him, Billy sat so calmly like the good boy he is. Of course, it helped that I had treats in my hand. As an experienced pet photographer, I have learned that food is a great motivator! From his questioning, head-to-the-side pose, to his paw in the air ready to “shake”, and from the closeup of his sniffing nose to his natural, unique markings, I just love the quality photos I was able to create from this session.
Interested in getting portraits of your pet? This West Virginia pet photographer is ready to capture their cuteness - whether they have scales, feathers, or fur! Pet parents should keep in mind that the better behaved a pet is, the more quickly the session will go, but I always get the shots I need for you to have a solid collection of photos you’ll want on your wall at home or on your desk at work.
